Manager of Financial Reporting

Location: Calgary

Industry: Mid-Size Public Company

Compensation: $120-140k base

Overview:

A mid-sized publicly traded company is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience at the Management level and is a Big 4 trained CPA.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Month-End Accounting: Conduct month-end closings, ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with internal controls.

Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements following ASPE and ensure accuracy and consistency.

Audit Assistance: Support the annual audit process by drafting financial statements and related notes.

Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist with forecasting and budgeting to support financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant management experience

CPA Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
